EARTHQUAKES; THE CONFLICT BETWEEN NATURE AND MAN

 

 

 

The recent earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing conflict between nature and man. While man has worked tirelessly to build towering skyscrapers and sprawling cities, nature has the power to bring it all to the ground in an instant. The earthquake, which measured about 7.8 on the Richter scale, resulted in widespread destruction and devastation in the affected areas. Buildings were reduced to rubble, roads were damaged, and many people were left homeless. The earthquake claimed the lives of thousands of people, and injured many more.
